Remembering Penny Carr

Camp Saint Andrew’s has lost a very special member of our camp family, Penny Carr. For many years, Penny was the master of candle creations at Camp Saint Andrew’s. Every camper who made a sand candle made a masterpiece under Penny’s guidance. She was also the original Queen of Tidy Tent…the art of having a clean tent to earn a candy reward made her a very popular camp personality! We will miss her and the way she made lighter every space she entered.

The Carr family has asked donations in her memory to support Camp Saint Andrew’s.

Support Our Mission

Camp Saint Andrew’s only continues by the kindness of those who support our cause. Since 1978, our mission has been to provide an activity-filled, and spiritually aware traditional camp experience to children from diverse social and economic backgrounds. Your support helps guarantee that our camp continues to be such a positive experience for over 150 campers and young adults each year.

Make a Difference

Many of our campers would not be able to join us without some form of financial support. By donating the tuition for one camper, you guarantee that a child will get the chance to experience an exceptional summer camp and the opportunities for friendship and personal growth that come with it that they would have otherwise missed.

This was my first time going to camp and I really liked it. it was a lot of fun. I’m hoping to be there next year as well. All of the things I got to do were really fun, especially archery; I really liked it.
